Notes to the Hopkins Crew!

Two years tomorrow. Maddie, what a beautiful article. I knew I should have had a tissue handy as I started it. Matt influenced so many, us included, and it was more than rowing, he had other motives, working for The King. What a joy to see those reasons for living lived out through all nine of you, even James who shows me “gifts of his dad” every time I see him, just yesterday even. Excited to support you all in this. Reach out if we can help. And gear. I’m all about gear…waiting on the release! Love to you all, may prayers and the love of God sustain you. Love, The Goods

Maddie & family,
Thank you for sharing your story. I lost my dad 8-1/2 years ago to a sudden, aggressive cancer and know how hard it can be to honor our loved ones when they pass. I still have a tough time knowing that we lost him far too soon, but through tragedy, there is always an opportunity for hope. The legacy my dad left behind has given me an opportunity to share him with my three children who he never was able to meet in life. He is a constant presence.
What you are doing as a family is something to be extremely proud of and will add to your dad’s own legacy. That will give some many more people (like me!) the opportunity to know how he has made the world a better place.
